Following many successful projects working on the Olympic Studio Cinema in Barnes, West London the same team had a vision for 3 stunning Archlight Cinema auditoria spanning 3 arches under Battersea railway bridge.

We were involved at a very early design stage with AB Rogers Design with a striking vision of a 3D acoustic panel surface treating the auditoria walls and arches in each screening room.

We worked together with our Client, AB Rogers Design, cinema consultants ARC Cinema Solutions, lighting designers Nulty Lighting and the main contractor GF Holdings to design individual acoustic panels that could be mounted at varying angles to create the dramatic 3D effect and use of bold colours.

Our installation started with a full stretched fabric treatment of each of the sound-proofed arches from floor, over the arched ceilings and to the floor on the other side.

From our treatments we designed and installed a powder coated structural sud-grid to soften the tops of the arches enabling the ceiling acoustic panels to be supported lower and hide all services above so as to not affect the flow of the ceiling panels.
